15% tariff on Chinese goods worth 112 billion

China's latest round of tariffs on imports of goods went into effect on Sunday.  Americans may raise prices for items such as clothing, shoes, sports items and other items before the holiday shopping season  Chris.


 The 15 per cent tariff applies to goods imported from China worth about $ 112 billion - more than two-thirds  US consumer goods imported from China now face the tax hike.

 As a result of the Trump tax hike, many American companies have warned that they will be forced to raise prices for their customers  Chinese goods.

 After Sunday's tax hike, 87% of garments and 52% of footwear from China will be subject to a 15% import tax,
